Hi Everyone,
Over the recent month we have had considerable interest in starting another raid group for taking on the new Dragon Soul raid content. Our Core 1 group has made decent progress and now that we are all back together should hopefully smash our way through to a Deathwing Kill soon.
Our Core 2, had one night where a group was formed, we were able to down the first boss after a bit of struggling but did not go further. I am intending to have possibly start the base of the Core 2 this upcoming Sunday January 15. I am aiming for a server time of between 4-7pm "server". I would like all those interested to either post on this forum topic and let me know what role you would like to enter as and link the character you will want to take. I will take the time to inspect everyone's armory and let you know if your current gear meets my requirements and/or also provide you with advice on areas of improvement.
I would actually very much like to see if someone is willing to fully take over as a Raid leader for a second core group as my current role of being Raid Leader for Core 1 has me blanking off 2 nights of the week already so although I am online a lot it will be hard to "guarantee" I can be always in attendance. Those who are interested please let me know and the other officers and I will discuss.
Going hand in hand with this point is the time when Core 2 will be raiding, since I do have priority with my Core 1 responsibilities and my real life I have limited openings to have a second raid group going. So I would like input from all interested as to what day/time works for everyone.
I will be utilizing Yayorailz (Paladin) or Yayorails (Druid) for this raid group, I will pick by Sunday. As of now I will be happy to Maintank if necessary and/or dps. Both of these characters meet the requirements I have laid out for tanking as well as dps.

Frostelf - DPS
Harkoa- Heals
Xienna- DPS

So based on the above short list (again sorry if I missed you) we require an Offtank, a Tank healer (Disc Priest or Paladin), another raid healer with a dps off spec, and three (3) more dps (one more melee dps would be excellant).
Tanks should have a dps offspec (or a healer offspec) and healers should have a dps offspec (or single target and raid heals spec). This will allow more utility and flexibility for the bosses we encounter.
The goal is to not require to PUG other players to fill out our raid group.
Please come prepared:
Have food (ie. Food that buffs your optimal stat and stamina - example - Fortune Cookie), Have flasks (ie. The flask that buffs your top stat - Stam for tank, Str or Agil for melee; Intellect for Caster), Have a character ilvl of 380 (This number will be "slightly" flexible depending on role and skill level) and have a General knowledge of the fights.
When I list "General Knowledge" DO NOT THINK I MEAN LFR, 10 Man DS is nothing like the faceroll and loot dummies that we all burn down in Looking for Raid groups. All potential raiders are required to go to http://www.icy-veins.com/ and to look at videos of the 10 Man normal mode kills. Youtube is a great source for videos, use it.
People looking for help with their characters look at the extremely detailed guides you can find at www.wowhead.com and www.elitistjerks.com. Click forums, your class; then the "Stickies". Also, check out www.askmrrobot.com and www.wowreforge.com or help in optimizing your gems, enchants and reforging.
I will provide quick runthroughs of the fights prior to pulling and give pointers on when do use cooldowns and such. But this does not mean I will tell you the entire fight and you do not have to do any research on your own, if you do not have a general knowledge of what you are doing then you will not be raiding. This giant post has all the information and links you will need to be able to show up to a raid and contribute, so use these links, use the information, read up on the fights and if we can all do this and get a group together then hopefully within the next few weeks we will have two (2) dedicated core raid groups downing bosses and collecting the epic loots we all want.
