It does sound like a port issue. Alas I cannot be of much help in fixing this, perhaps someone who is can asisst? Bump

I agree, however, there is no router in the mix. The windows firewall might be blocking it, though usually, no. The virus scanner might be the issue, but more than likely its the ISP. I have dealt with issues with Rogers in the past. They block a lot of stuff that other ISP's do not. I know of several people who live near me, and they cannot send emails to friends in Ontario cause Rogers blocks emails from their ISP.

What I don't understand is, is how random the blocks can be? I was able to play last night. I did nettest then too, just because, and it worked as well.

PWE sent me a list of things to try, and the only one I did was updating IE, which I doubt was the problem as I could play once in a while prior to updating it.

I'll just hope that it will continue working. :) If it screws up again, I guess I'll just go through the list they have.

And Rogers, I loathe them. I would love to get my internet via anyone else, yet they are the only ones in my area that supply cable. I refuse to go to DSL. I download far too much!
