*Finally* on Spring Break! My boss was kind enough to let me have the whole week to myself
Very happy about that. I'm gonna start packing here in a little bit; headed out of town for a few days to visit my grandparents near Fresno, and its extraordinary because both of them turned 75 about a week ago. There's much to celebrate for! And on a final note: the Con peeps feel like crap about the god-awful mess up that was the badge sale in march, so they've decided to lock people who already have badges out, and let people who *weren't* able to get one try again. Gee, may be they should have considered that when they did the initial sell...Anyway, just passing down the info for those who are still interested. Have a fantastic work day!

Comic Con sent me an email: Badge sales are to begin sometime after February 28th. They even posted a nifty, "What To Expect" guide when you go to purchase a badge as it will be a madhouse. Here's the link to that PDF: [link]

School's nearly done...we're down to 2 weeks now I think...and i have a lot of work to do *blushes* I guess I work better under pressure, but at least I'm not as last-minute as I used to be when I started college. And Tech if you read this, yes, I'll give a shot a drawing Diablo...when, I have no clue, lol. But I'll give it a try because you asked me Anyway, Happy Friday! Hope you all have a fantastic one!p.s. ...Comic Con, you need yo hurry your @$$ up, I'm getting anxious over here while praying I don't go broke before you seel the badges! *goes bananas* Anyway, got a new pic going over here to the Left in honor of Valentine's Day as well as a befitting, mushily uttered quote. Seriously, Padmé? First, you go and wear black leather that you're about to pop out of in front of Anakin (that's not sending the wrong message--can you say 'tease'?), and then it takes a near-death experience for you to acknowledge your true feelings?...
Oi vey! *shakes head* I do love the couple though despite everyone's continual insistence that there's no 'chemistry' between the actors...I don't think it's the acting so much as the 'wooden dialogue'-something that plagued the prequels. Not that I mind that, I actually watched Episode I the other day, and was able to enjoy the $%&* out of it all over again! Even if you hate Phantom Menace (which a lot of people do), you gotta admit the costumes, CG, and the music were well worth it...least to me. Anyway, off to lunch and then class my lovelies! Keep playing the game, I can not wait to join in on it!

Okie Dokie, I figured I could share this with you guys: this is the link to obtaining a ComicCon ID. It's not hard, you just enter all your info-Name, Address, Phone, Email, etc. and make up a login name as well as a password. From there you confirm it, and then you're all done!
Badges aren't on sale yet, but I have my eyes open. I know it's cheaper to skip Preview Night (a whole $25 cheaper). In other news, school's back in session and so is work. Vacation was rather nice, but I enjoy going to class again Think I'll add some Star Wars Score to my ishuffle...gives me a bit of variety and helps me write for the RPG I'm in. I just watched Episode III, and my mother-who likes Star Wars and loves Star Trek- made a most startling revelation to me. In the Opera House scene (where we learn about Darth Plagious) Palpatine makes a curious statement about his former Master: "He could even manipulate the Midichlorians to create life." Now, we know from Episode I that Anakin was conceived through the Force, his mother confirmed that there was no father; Anakin simply was...So, doesn't it stand to reason that, theoretically, Anakin was *created* by Plagious? What better way to infiltrate the Jedi Order, and ultimately destroy it?!
Think about it: Anakin has always been more or less arrogant, aggressive, power-hungry (i.e. saving Padme), and never really believed in following Jedi ideals/morals...he almost has a sort of pre-disposed 'Sith gene' if you think of it that way...no one flat out said for sure *how* the midichlorians were manipulated to create Anakin (or rather *who* did it). It is a most interesting theory, one that I think makes sense. How about the rest of you? I wanna hear how you all weigh in on this! By the way, Merry Belated Christmas to all of you! I hope that you had a fantastic Holiday, and that you have an equally great end to the Year!
